A short drive to the picturesque village of Eumundi, and the historic villages of Cooroy and Pomona enable you to step back into the early pioneering days of the area.  Further north is Boreen Point on the shores of Lake Cootharaba and nearby is historic Kin Kin.

Bike riding –   With over 200 km of hinterland trails and endless quiet country roads, the choices are limitless.  From the top of Mt. Tinbeerwah near Tewantin, enjoy amazing panoramic views of Noosa coastline and hinterland.  Cycle down the mountain via creeks and rainforest pockets, stopping for a picnic along the way.  The Noosa Trail Network gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy the spectacular hinterland countryside.
